Trees Rd Productions
Trees Rd Productions has been involved in a number of varied projects since it began, including producing new writing works, a two-hander musical, a training video and podcast series.
They've recently embarked on All About Dis' with psychologist Padraig Walsh. It is a resource for exploring some of the issues that are impacting the lives of people with intellectual disabilities in Ireland today.
Currently in development is Meet My Worry Monster a children’s theatre piece that explores the issue of anxiety in young children.
The company prides itself on the professionalism of their final product no matter what the project. More details below...
In production: All About Dis'
All About Dis' is a podcast series that looks at issues relevant to people with disabilities in Ireland.
In the initial series of 10 podcasts we interview parents of people with disabilities, people with disabilities who have flourished in their vocations, politicians and policy makers in Ireland as well as experts in the field of Special Education, Psychology and Psychiatry.
It' a unique resource for people with disability but it also serves as a support for family members who we hope can relate to the human stories that are being told.
First few interviews available to listen below or from Apple Podcasts and Stitcher.
In Development: Meet My Worry Monster
Having been successful with our application for a Tiny Shows Residency with Branar Theatre, we were encouraged to continue development of our theatre piece Meet My Worry Monster.
We want to explore the theme of anxiety in children, and are passionate about getting children sharing and talking.
We want to do this in an innovative, imaginative way, and at the same time keeping the story simple and magical.

Past Productions:
Ballybán
Written by Kelly McCauley and Amy, Ballybán was presented at the Collaborations Festival at Smock Alley Dublin in 2014. It's a comedy surrounding the discovery of a thumb in a letter by the postman and nosy barmaids. Their ritualistic opening of the entire village’s mail finally turns up trumps for the trio and they set off on a who-dunnit murder-type mystery. The phenomenal audience feedback received gave them the drive to develop the piece and continue writing together as a team.
The Last Five Years
An emotionally powerful and intimate musical story written by Tony award winning composer Jason Robert Brown. It looks at a young couple's hope that their love can stand the test of time. It played very successfully to full houses throughout its run at The Project Arts Centre.
